JOB OVERVIEW

The Food & Beverage Sales & Promotions – Senior Executive is responsible for supporting the F&B Outlets Sales Manager in driving sales and revenue across all F&B outlets. This position focuses on supporting day-to-day sales activities, assisting with event coordination, and maintaining guest relationships to ensure exceptional service and experiences. The Sales Executive will work closely with outlet managers, restaurant reservations, and the kitchen team to support operational needs and maximize opportunities for private dining, group reservations, and special events.

 

This role is pivotal in building and nurturing guest relationships and contributing to the overall performance of the F&B outlets, ensuring that all objectives related to guest volume, average spending, and event bookings are met.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Strong communication skills in English (a second language is preferred, but not essential).
  • Experience in F&B sales, reservations, or guest service roles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments (outlet managers, kitchen, reservations, etc.).
  • Ability to manage databases, assist with guest engagement, and maintain strong communication channels.

 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in sales support or event coordination within F&B outlets.
  • Experience in Mandarin-speaking environments is beneficial but not a requirement.

 

PERFORMANCE CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Support the F&B Outlets Sales Manager in achieving and exceeding revenue and sales targets.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations related to sales, guest inquiries, and reservations.
  • Contribute to the successful coordination and execution of events by providing operational support.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities (80% of time):

  • Assist in handling guest inquiries and group reservations, ensuring timely responses and accurate communication.
  • Support the F&B Outlets Sales Manager in upselling private dining options and maximizing group bookings across outlets.
  • Assist in coordinating special requests and requirements for events and group bookings, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Follow up with clients post-event or booking to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction, sharing insights with the team.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining databases, updating call sheets, and tracking reservations and event details.
  • Help with the coordination of pre-event and event-day logistics, supporting the team with set-up and operational needs as required.
  • Support sales activities by assisting with telesales, following up on leads, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Work with outlet managers to gather feedback on guest experiences and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

 

Secondary Responsibilities (20% of time):

  • Attend industry networking events or sales blitzes to build relationships with potential clients.
  • Assist in promotional efforts and marketing campaigns to increase visibility and guest engagement for the outlets.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Outlets Sales Manager in tracking market trends and competitor activities.
  • Stay informed about seasonal offerings, menu changes, and special events to effectively communicate and upsell to guests.
