Job Summary
This JD outlines the expectations for a senior executive responsible for leading the development, implementation and growth of digital Wealth Products and Proposition globally in Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) business. This role will focus on creating seamless, innovative and client centric digital solutions that will elevate the digital delivery of wealth product solutions and client experience across 26 markets and client segments.
The Wealth Management Product and Proposition Head is responsible for driving digital innovation and serve as a cross-functional change agent for wealth product solutions for our affluent clients in WRB. The job holder shall closely manage and lead in the various digital implementation of all global wealth products’ delivery initiatives and activities related to the proper support and maintenance of the various Wealth platforms. The breadth of products supported includes forex, commodities, fixed income, cash equities, commodities, structured products, funds, discretionary portfolio as well as insurance.
This role requires a deep understanding of wealth management products and services as well as a sound appreciation of the regulatory landscape of the financial industry. It also requires the job holder to lead in transformation agenda to drive scalable, client centric solutions that meet the diverse clients’ needs in a volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous (VUCA) environment. The role will work closely WRB markets heads, Wealth Solutions Product and Technology delivery teams to ensure the successful digital delivery wealth products and services across the global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Drive the long-term vision and digital innovation for wealth products and services across asset classes, enhancing both client satisfaction and business growth.
- Develop seamless, intuitive, and cohesive client investment journey across the wealth continuum that integrates investment advisory, orders execution, transactional processing, product lifecycle and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the creation of wealth management digital tools and delivery capabilities that supports front office productivity, client acquisition & retention, business scalability and personalised experiences.
- Continuously evaluate the digital & markets trends and identify new opportunities to innovate and enhance the suite of wealth product solutions offerings.
Business
- Oversee the digital development and launch of new wealth product solutions and propositions, ensuring they meet the local demands and align with regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Lead innovation efforts to adapt to evolving market conditions, regulatory changes, and the changing needs of affluent clients across the Wealth continuum.
- Collaborate with Wealth Markets Heads, external vendors, counterparties/ product providers to design and deliver integrated digital solutions to enhance digital capabilities that address client needs across asset allocation, investment strategies, and wealth preservation.
Processes
- Establish and monitor key metrics to assess platform adoption, monetisation, and user satisfaction, making data driven decisions to optimise resources and deliver business outcomes that are aligned to the organisational goals.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve platform stability, cybersecurity, operational resilience, ensuring that the platform delivers wealth product solutions and services in a scalable, safe, and compliant manner.
People & Talent
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing global team responsible for digital product development, management, and strategic initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, collaboration, client centricity, continuous improvement, inclusivity, and accountability.
- Build strong relationships with cross functional teams, including stakeholders from technology, product, risks, product providers and control functions to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives across the Bank.
Risk Management
- Identify weaknesses across the end-to-end process risk and control environment and monitor rectification as required.
- Ensure implementation of appropriate control systems and operational procedures to support investment sales and securities transactions and the effective administration of customer accounts.
- Ensure adequate and appropriate systems and controls are in compliance with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes, including those governing all Risk types, Compliance, Technology and Operations, Finance and Reputation.
Governance
- Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Bank operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
- Responsible for delivering effective governance as the first line of defence and collaborate closely with second and third line of defence to ensure well controlled ecosystem, meeting the requisite governance standards established within the Bank.

Key stakeholders
- Serve as the champion for Wealth Products and Propositions delivery across the organization, working closely with Wealth Solutions Product team, distribution teams, segment team, Markets and client-facing units.
- Collaborate with the country product teams and client segments to ensure effective communication, training, and support of digital enablement of wealth platforms and services across the markets.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Wealth, compliance, legal, risk) and external partners (e.g., custodians, platform providers, counterparties, vendors, advisors) to ensure seamless product delivery and integration.

Skills and Experience
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in wealth management, investment products, and propositions, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership or global role.
- Proven track record in developing and launching wealth products and propositions that resonate with HNW/UHNW clients.
- Deep understanding of wealth management trends, financial markets, investment products, and global regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global and complex organization.
- Excellent understanding of the wealth management ecosystem
- Strong track record of large, complex business-technology delivery projects
- Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions
- Proven ability to provide guidance and execute in an agile way through teams across geographic locations
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop talent.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate global trends and market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of the global wealth management landscape, including investment strategies, regulatory changes, and client needs.
