Group Wealth Operations (GWO) Functional Management Manager

As a Group Wealth Operations (GWO) Functional Management Manager at OCBC, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our wealth management services. How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be meticulous, organized, and able to work well under pressure. You’ll need to build strong relationships with our wealth management teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of our services. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in identifying and resolving operational issues.

What you do
Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Prepare and analyse data to provide insights and support decision-making such as transaction volume and trend, operations service catalogue and unit processing capacity report

  • Coordinate within Group Wealth Operations (GWO) to liaise with Group Operations on data initiatives

  • Support the Head of GWO with preparation of materials and talking points for management reporting, meetings or ad-hoc presentations

  • Secretariat for GWO management meetings to support operation goal achievement and track work plan deliverables  

  • Provide administrative support such as office space planning, seating restack coordination and manage cost allocation matrix

  • Support GWO management with strategic and staff engagement initiatives such as operation budget planning, establishing operating SLA / KPI and town hall event   

  • Undertake other duties as assigned by manager

Who you are

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as finance or business administration

  • At least 7 years relevant experience in Operations preferably within private banking with good understanding of the functions of O&T department

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with data work and attention to details

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in facilitating discussion and interacting with senior management stakeholders

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently taking initiative on assigned responsibilities
