Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Network Compliance Specialist with 5-8 years of experience in supporting the compliance of an organization’s network infrastructure with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role requires a solid understanding of network security practices and compliance frameworks, as well as the ability to contribute to ensuring that the network environment is secure and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring the organization’s network infrastructure complies with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of network compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Implement network compliance programs, including risk assessments, audits, and monitoring activities.
- Identify and assess compliance risks related to the organization’s network infrastructure and contribute to mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with GRC, legal, IT, and security teams to ensure alignment of compliance policies with organizational objectives.
- Help prepare compliance reports for senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audit findings, and remediation efforts.
- Monitor emerging threats and regulatory changes to support the adaptation of compliance programs.
- Assist in evaluating third-party vendors to ensure their network security controls meet compliance requirements.
- Participate in training and awareness programs to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Stay informed about advancements in network compliance technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes and tools.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in network security, compliance, or risk management.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or in progress)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) (or in progress)
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.
- Ability to analyze network traffic and security logs to identify potential compliance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support senior staff in compliance initiatives.
