Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Assistant Vice President responsible for implementing and maintaining the bank’s building and international office networks. He/she will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure, which is essential for supporting business operations and delivering high-quality services to our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to network management and a commitment to collaboration across various teams.

Key Responsibilities

·       Support the development and implementation of organization’s wireless, building, branches and ATM network infrastructure

·       Ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the bank’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security systems.

·       Collaborate with IT teams, such as Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Applications, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of network services with business requirements.

·       Manage relationships with vendors and partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of network services.

·       Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and operational procedures.

·       Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including data protection and security standards.

·       Support the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network services.

·       Provide technical guidance and support for ad-hoc network requests and projects, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Perform change request across all network technologies based on new design standards and business requirements.
  • Provide network fault investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, recovery and root cause analysis.
  • Review and implement complex changes and device upgrades in critical environments.
  • Deliver and implement network projects according to Bank standards and requirements.

Key Focus Areas

·       Building and international office network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance

·       Network security and threat protection

·       WAN and LAN optimization and performance management

·       Wi-Fi and wireless network design and implementation

·       Collaboration with the Cybersecurity team to ensure network security and compliance

·       Vendor management and relationship building

 

Qualifications

 

Qualification

·       Education

o   Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       Experience

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with 2 years in supporting banking environment.
    • Practical knowledge & hands-on experiences in implementing network architecture and components including switches, routers, wireless, firewalls, VPNs and security gateways.
    • Strong implementation knowledge of the following protocols: OSPF, BGP, IPSec, GRE and STP.
    • Deep working knowledge of BGP routing is a required
    • Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
    • Experience with Cisco ACI, EVPN is preferred
    • Experience in monitoring, tuning and scripting languages is a plus.

·       Certification

    • Relevant certifications (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP etc.) are a plus

·       Knowledge and Skills

o   Technical expertise in implementing and maintaining the building and international office networks.

o   Familiarity with cloud computing, software-defined networking, and network automation.

o   Professional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

o   Situational analysis and decision-making abilities.

o   A quality mindset with a prevention attitude to attain zero defects and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality network services.

o   Experience in supporting network budget management and resource allocation.

o   Capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.

Working Conditions

Flexible working hours may be required to support 24/7 network operations.
