Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Network Engineer with experience in the responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s wireless, building, branch, and ATM network infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with various IT departments to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability while delivering network projects that align with organizational standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure for wireless, branches, buildings, and ATMs.
  • Execute change requests across all network technologies based on new design standards and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with other IT departments to enhance network performance, security, and reliability.
  • Conduct network fault investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, recovery, and root cause analysis.
  • Review and implement complex changes and device upgrades in critical environments.
  • Deliver and implement network projects in accordance with bank standards and requirements.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment focused on achieving organizational targets.

Qualifications

 

Qualification:

·       Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in network engineering or support, with at least 2 years in a banking environment.

·       Certification:

    • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, etc., are a plus.

·       Knowledge and Skills:

    • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing network architecture and components, including switches, routers, wireless systems, firewalls, VPNs, and security gateways.
    • Strong implementation knowledge of networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IPSec, GRE, and STP.
    • Deep working knowledge of BGP routing is required.
    • Experience with Cisco ACI and EVPN is preferred.
    • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in monitoring, tuning, and scripting languages is a plus.
    • Project management skills. 
    • Professional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
