Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Application Delivery and Content Delivery Network Engineering with over 10 years of extensive experience in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust Application Delivery Network (ADN) and Content Delivery Network (CDN) infrastructures. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure, reliable, and high-performance delivery of the bank’s online applications and web services. This position demands a strategic mindset for developing innovative ADN and CDN solutions, a strong focus on regulatory compliance, and the ability to foster collaboration across various IT teams. A commitment to driving operational excellence and mentoring a talented team of network engineers is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the ADN and CDN teams, ensuring effective design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure.
- Create and execute ADN and CDN strategies and roadmaps to support business growth and align with the overall IT strategy.
- Provide leadership in ADN and CDN design, architecture, and operations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage relationships with ADN and CDN vendors, network vendors, and telecommunications providers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Work closely with IT teams such as Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Applications for seamless service integration.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements related to data protection and security.
- Oversee ADN and CDN budgets and resource allocation for effective utilization and return on investment.
- Promote a culture of innovation by adopting new technologies and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for ADN and CDN services.
- Provide guidance for ad-hoc ADN and CDN requests and projects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain internal control discipline as measured by audits and regulatory ratings.

Qualifications
Qualification
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in ADN and CDN technologies, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale ADN and CDN infrastructure, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong operational experience in a financial sector environment is preferred.
- Certification
- Advanced certifications in ADN and CDN technologies (e.g., F5, Cisco, Akamai) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong technical expertise in ADN and CDN design, architecture, and operations.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, software-defined networking, and network automation.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with experience mentoring a team of network engineers.
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving innovation.
