Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Network Engineering to lead our network infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank’s building and international office networks. In this critical role, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure, which is essential for supporting business operations and delivering high-quality services to our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to network management and a commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration across various teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of network engineers focused on the design, implementation, and maintenance of the bank’s building and international office networks.
- Develop and implement network strategies and roadmaps that support business growth and align with the bank’s overall IT strategy.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the bank’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams, such as Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Applications, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of network services with business requirements.
- Manage relationships with vendors and partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of network services.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including data protection and security standards.
- Manage network budgets and resource allocation, ensuring effective utilization of resources and optimal return on investment.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and processes to enhance network efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network services.
- Provide technical guidance and support for ad-hoc network requests and projects, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Qualifications
Qualification
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale network infrastructure, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong technical expertise in network design, architecture, and operations, with experience in managing complex network environments.
- Operational experience in a financial sector environment is strongly desired.
- Certification
- Advanced certifications in network engineering, such as CCIE, CCNP, or CISSP, are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, software-defined networking, and network automation.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and mentoring a team of network engineers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of driving innovation and change.
- A quality mindset with a prevention attitude to attain zero defects and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality network services.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business requirements and develop network solutions to meet those needs.
- Experience in managing network budgets and resource allocation, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
- Strong relationship-building skills, capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
Working Conditions
