Roles and Responsibilities:

The role assists Head, Wealth Management Singapore in the day-to-day running of the deposit products & payments team. He/she is responsible for the deposit and payments business and product strategy, through managing a close and active collaboration with key stakeholders in identifying opportunities, execution of initiatives and strategies to meet the business goals of the business.

  • Provide thought and strategic leadership to achieve key business performance targets, in areas such as of portfolio management, optimization of balance ratios, margins, revenue, building and monetizing payment products on our digital channels – retail, peer-to-peer, cross border and utilities. 
  • Drive end to end product cycle management which includes Ideate, conceptualize, system testing and execute product campaigns and launches
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to optimize current operational frameworks and to drive process improvement projects. 
  • Manage full spectrum of Singapore Dollar and Foreign Currency deposit products, including both CASA and time deposits.  Payment products such as debit and/or ATM cards, NETs, Paynow, QR, GIRO, FAST
  • Support product and service enquiries from frontline and support units
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory/audit/compliance issues through maintenance, update & revision of policies and procedures
  • The role will also work extensively with external stakeholders and partners to develop and grow digital payments in Singapore and overseas. These include other banks in industry discussions, FinTech partners and merchants/aggregators. 

 

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • Good Bachelor or higher degree
  • Minimum 12 years of working experience in areas related to deposits products, preferably with minimum 5 years in leadership position.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of deposit products. Strong knowledge in the area of Wealth Management business will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in product development and management, digital wealth, data analytics, marketing, project management, process-thinking, customer experience, customer service and compliance matters.
  • The ideal candidate needs to be a Strategic thinker who is able to apply “Root Cause Analysis” and integrate Knowledge Data to present meaningful insights to Senior Management 
  • The Head of Deposit must also build a high performing team and the ability to influence Senior Stakeholders
