Position Overview:
The Hybrid IT Solutioning Engineer is responsible for designing and governing hybrid infrastructure solutions spanning on‑premises platforms and cloud services. The role supports business and technology initiatives by delivering solutions that are operationally sound, secure, cost‑effective, and aligned with enterprise standards.
The candidate should have 8–10 years of relevant experience in a bank, system integrator, or technology distributor, with strong exposure to infrastructure and hybrid IT solutioning. Depending on the solution domain, the engineer may act as the SME or coordinate specialist inputs, while remaining accountable for the overall outcome.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead hybrid IT solutioning engagements from requirements definition through approval and handover to delivery.

Own solution outcomes covering architecture integrity, security, operational readiness, and cost alignment.

Act as the SME for infrastructure domains within own expertise (e.g. virtualization, storage, DR, cloud).

Where not the SME, coordinate internal SMEs and vendors to drive a complete end‑to‑end solution.

Develop technical solution proposals that are management‑friendly, clearly outlining:

architecture and design approach

key dependencies and assumptions

risks, resilience, and operational considerations

Present and explain solution proposals to management, translating infrastructure complexity into business‑relevant implications such as availability, cost, and risk.

Engage vendors to source, validate, and consolidate solution costs.

Produce cost proposals that are clear, structured, and aligned to approved budgets.

Support RFP and sourcing activities in partnership with procurement.

Ensure a smooth and effective transition from solutioning to project delivery.
Technical Requirements:
Hybrid IT and Infrastructure

Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

On‑premises infrastructure (virtualization, compute, storage)

Storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

Hybrid connectivity between on‑premises and cloud
-
Infrastructure monitoring, automation, and resilience design
Enterprise Environment

Experience operating within regulated, large‑scale environments

Understanding of standards, controls, and operational requirements
Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
Candidate Profile:

8–10 years of experience in infrastructure or hybrid IT solutioning roles.

Experience delivering solutions across multiple infrastructure domains.

Comfortable owning outcomes even when detailed design inputs are provided by other SMEs.

Able to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non‑technical audiences and management.

Structured, disciplined, and comfortable working within governance and approval frameworks.
