International Banking Apprentice Singapore 2025

We’re looking for talented, driven, Polytechnic graduates to join our 12-month International Banking Apprenticeship Programme. Over a year, you’ll get involved with real world projects, learn on the job and build your network across the Bank.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join one of the following teams within International Banking, and get involved in projects from day one.
 

Sales Support

•    Helping to build and expand client relationships through delivery of high-quality service
•    Supporting Relationship Managers in acquiring, retaining and deepening banking relationship with clients

 

Portfolio Management
•    Handling account related servicing
•    Monitoring the progress of customer’s applications and other instructions Co-ordinating and reply to all customers enquire via phone-in or emails
•    Monitoring and following up on incomplete Client Due Diligence related documents Ensuring accurate & timely submission of accounts and wealth documents 

 

Customer Management
•    Ensuring proper communication to clients via phone calls/letters when there are changes to their Relationship Managers (RMs)
•    Servicing walk-in clients’ transactions when RM is absent 
•    Providing regular updates to customers on banking promotion and events
•    Follow up on customer queries/ requests and issuing of clients’ reference letters
•    Supporting RMs in investigation and documentation of complaints in timely manner

About the Apprenticeship Programme

During this learning journey, you will embark on two 6 months rotations. You will be exposed to different projects and tasks, alongside structured trainings, mentorship and on-the-job learning. Through the programme, you’ll experience an incredible and varied global learning experience, which include:

Eligibility

•    We welcome graduates from all Polytechnic Diploma disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience. 
•    Have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore
•    Keen interest in Banking and Finance industry
•    Shows resilience in the face of pressure and obstacles
•    Builds rapport with others and relates in a calm engaging manner
•    Shows commercial acumen and pursues self-development and progression obstacles
