What you do

You’ll be actively involved in all stages of the LUMOS project, with responsibilities including:

  • User Requirements: Collaborate to gather and document clear user requirements for the loan onboarding system.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test cases, and report findings.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Automate data collection and create insightful dashboards using Excel.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with team onboarding and HR-related tasks to support a smooth workflow.
  • Secured Loans Support: Support product managers with market research and product development for commercial property loans.

Global Commercial Banking serves the entire spectrum of customer segments, from large corporations to government entities, and half of all SMEs in Singapore. You will be embedded within the Emerging Business team focusing on Secured Loans and the exciting LUMOS project.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and confidently work with data.
  • Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Excel.
  • Excellent communicator – able to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage your time effectively.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with team members across different business units.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • Practical experience in collecting and documenting user requirements.
  • Insight into the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data analysis.
  • Stronger critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of commercial loan products and the financial industry.
