What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research & Presentation Support: Assist in preparing research materials and compelling presentation slides to support business development activities.
  • Client Relationship Support: Assist with trade renewal processes and prepare concise call reports summarizing client interactions.
  • Data Analysis & Tracking: Perform data analysis to track sales management performance and identify key trends.
  • Market & Industry Research: Conduct industry and market research to gain insights that inform business decisions and refine our lending strategies.
  • Marketing Support: Participate in marketing activities, including the preparation of website articles and electronic direct mailers.
  • Sales Lead Monitoring: Assist in monitoring sales leads through various reports and campaigns, tracking progress and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ad-hoc Project Support: Support ad-hoc projects and duties as directed by managers.

The Serial Entrepreneurs & Account Management team within Emerging Business is dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions to a diverse portfolio of SME clients. You’ll work alongside experienced relationship managers, analysts, and marketing specialists in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Who you are

  • Open to learning and feedback
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interest in SME banking and business development.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • An in-depth understanding of the business loans offered to SME companies.
  • Practical application of your skills in data analysis and presentation.
  • Exposure to marketing strategies used to generate sales leads.
  • An understanding of how sales leads are monitored and tracked through various reports and campaigns.
