How you succeed

Success in this role requires a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks. You’ll need to be comfortable diving deep into processes, documenting findings clearly, and contributing to the development of robust control measures. A willingness to learn and a passion for maintaining ethical standards are key.

What you do

You’ll be directly involved in:

  • Documenting key processes through flowcharts and detailed descriptions.
  • Assisting in the creation of engaging risk awareness training materials.
  • Preparing presentations summarizing risk and control review results.
  • Supporting deep-dive reviews of processes within GLFE (issuing, acquiring, unsecured loan, Digital Payment & Ecosystem).
  • Developing tools for controls review using macros and programming languages.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in writing macros and/or other programming languages.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • A strong understanding of compliance principles and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Practical experience in risk assessment, control implementation, and process documentation.
  • Skills in data analysis and the development of automated tools for controls review.
  • Exposure to a broad range of GLFE business functions.
