What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily data analytics operations within the Digital Markets team.
- Developing and maintaining interactive BI dashboards and applications using Power BI, Tableau and Python.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data visualizations and deliver actionable insights.
- Contributing to the OSPL (OCBC Securities) Data Analytics transformation project – from data exploration to dashboard deployment.
- Gathering user requirements and designing data-driven solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Automating data tasks and improving data management processes using Python, macros, or Power Automate.

Who you are
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business/Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Possess a working knowledge of data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python.
- Have a foundational understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
- Eager to learn and apply automation tools like Power Automate or Excel macros.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and possess a strong work ethic.
Learning Objectives
This internship will provide you with:
- Hands-on experience across the full data analytics lifecycle – from requirements gathering to data visualization.
- Exposure to diverse data domains within global markets, including trading and securities.
- Development of skills in data collection, processing, interpretation, and automation.
