Why Join 

Play a key role in driving growth and innovation in Marketing & Communications as a Marketing & Communications Intern. As part of the Global Wholesale Banking team, you’ll contribute to the critical function of marketing and communications, helping to promote the bank’s products and services to businesses. You’ll develop your skills in marketing, communications, and project management while working closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a creative and analytical individual with excellent writing and communication skills. You’ll be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, analyze complex data, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects will be crucial in delivering high-quality results and driving business outcomes.

What you do 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and events
  • Supporting the bank’s submissions for industry awards, including conducting a competitive landscape analysis, researching competitors’ entries, and identifying best practices
  • Creating engaging content, such as blog posts, social media posts, and email newsletters, to promote the bank’s products and services
  • Providing administrative support for marketing events, including event planning, coordination, and execution

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry (bonus)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Learning Objectives 

This internship will provide you with:

  • Exposure to the business banking communications competitive landscape and the opportunity to develop marketing and communications skills
