Be part of the transformation in our Global Wholesale Banking division. As an Operations Support & Systems Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our core banking systems. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in project management, system implementation, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing to the growth of our banking operations.

How you succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner, able to adapt to changing priorities, and have a strong analytical mindset. You’ll work closely with our Operations Support & Systems team to design and execute scalable and sustainable system implementation strategies and collaborate with other business units to drive project success. Your ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels will be crucial in building relationships and driving results.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Core Banking System Project Support: Assist with the upcoming new Core Banking System Project, focusing on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data field mapping, and coordination of branch training.
  • Process Documentation: Document current and to-be processes based on the new system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including branch teams, to ensure effective training and adoption of the new system.
  • Project Management: Assist with project rollout, tracking progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ad-hoc tasks: Provide support on other projects and tasks as assigned.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Passionate about technology and operations, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
