As a Loyalty Intern in Group Consumer Financial Services, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programs and customer engagement schemes. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills in product management, rewards, and partnership management.

How you succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner, able to adapt to changing project priorities, and have a strong sense of curiosity. You’ll work closely with the Loyalty team to conceptualize and plan innovative programs, design and execute customer engagement schemes, and monitor and report on program performance. Your ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels will be crucial in building relationships and driving results.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the conceptualization and planning of innovative programs within the Debit and Loyalty/Rewards space

  • Design, communicate, and execute customer engagement schemes utilizing gamification strategies to enhance customer interaction and loyalty

  • Develop and implement engaging communication strategies for the refresh of card programs

  • Prepare and execute targeted communications to streamline card offerings and loyalty schemes

  • Collaborate with front-line teams to effectively brief them on program changes and ensure they are equipped to communicate updates and enhancements to customers

  • Monitor and report on program performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a related field

  • Able to articulate and communicate well

  • Able to think on your feet to tackle issues and problem solving

  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

  • Open to learning and feedback, with a strong sense of curiosity and meticulous
