Be a key contributor to powering OCBC with data! As an EDW Team Intern, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing our data pipelines and ensuring the reliability of our data infrastructure. What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Automating the process of assessing the impact of changes to Control-M jobs, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
  • Optimizing data pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contributing to the development of a robust Quality Assurance (QA) framework for our data systems.
  • Analyzing data flows and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to implement solutions.

Who you work with

You’ll be joining the EDW Team within Enterprise Data – a vital function responsible for managing and delivering high-quality data across OCBC. You’ll collaborate with experienced data engineers, analysts, and architects, gaining valuable insights into the world of enterprise data warehousing.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Possesses good data skills and a foundational understanding of data principles.
  • Familiar with at least one programming language or scripting language (e.g., Python, SQL, Bash).
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
