What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research & Analysis: Assist in researching and analysing sustainability best practices, emerging trends, and relevant regulations within the financial industry.
  • Programme Support: Support the development and implementation of sustainability programmes and initiatives across OCBC Group, contributing to tangible positive change.
  • Data Management: Contribute to the collection, analysis, and reporting of key sustainability data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management metrics.
  • Communication & Reporting: Assist in preparing compelling sustainability reports, presentations, and communication materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Event Support: Support the planning and execution of sustainability-related events, workshops, and training sessions to raise awareness and drive engagement.
  • Ad-hoc tasks: Provide support on other projects and tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Group Sustainability team.

Who You Work With

The Group Sustainability team is a dynamic and forward-thinking function within the Group Strategy & Transformation Office. We are driving OCBC’s sustainability agenda, integrating environmental and social considerations into our business strategy, and championing responsible financial practices. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team of sustainability professionals and work across various departments to embed sustainability principles throughout the organisation.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Business with a focus on sustainability, Engineering).
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
