Make an Impact by:
Data Portfolio Strategy & Governance
• Lead the development and execution of the data strategy for Autonomous Networks, aligned with use case needs across fault prediction, change management, RCA and resolution.
• Define data architecture principles, standards and data quality frameworks for curated, real-time and raw network data.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, lineage tracking and lifecycle policies, working with DPE and Data Governance function.
Data Portfolio Leadership
• Define and maintain the strategic data blueprint for AN use cases, aligning with the overall Autonomous Network architecture and roadmap.
• Develop and maintain canonical data models for network-centric domains, including topology, fault, performance, inventory, alarms and configuration.
• Lead data discovery initiatives by engaging with domain leads (e.g., RAN, IP, Core) to identify data sources, availability, gaps and potential for use case enablement.
• Translate network insights and domain logic into actionable data models and pipeline requirements for AI and automation.
• Own the design of curated data layers, metadata cataloging and lineage for network data, ensuring high-quality ingestion and processing aligned with Networks and business needs.
Enablement of AI & Automation Use Cases
• Translate network automation objectives into concrete data requirements, including telemetry, logs, alarms, performance counters, topology and tickets.
• Partner with AIDA and DPE to enable low-code and pro-code AI/ML pipelines, ensuring correct feature sets and observability.
• Oversee the delivery of robust, scalable, and reusable data pipelines, collaborating with AN portfolio and insights managers, AIDA and DPE teams.
• Collaborate with DPE to ensure appropriate data exposure via APIs, dashboards and automation orchestration platforms.
• Lead initiatives to improve data readiness and usability for experimentation, training, validation and inference in AN solutions.
Collaboration & Influence
• Act as a key liaison between network domain teams and data/AI stakeholders. Facilitate alignment of priorities and execution plans.
• Influence platform design, backlog prioritisation and resource allocation across Domains, AIDA and DPE.
• Represent the AN data function in architectural governance, leadership forums and executive updates
Skills for Success:
• Degree in Telecommunication or Computing Engineering or equivalent with an accredited institution
• Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), big data or data architecture are an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in telecom or network domain, with strong expertise in data engineering and analytics infrastructure.
• 5+ years in telecommunications, with at least 3 years in network architecture, AI/ML or data platforms.
• Strong understanding of TM Forum AN framework, AI agent orchestration and AI/ML system design.
• Experience in Network architecture design, SW development process, project planning, technical support or project management of Telecom Systems, AI and Data systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, streaming (Kafka), orchestration (Airflow) and feature engineering
•Strong understanding of data architectures for ML pipelines and experience working with data scientists or AI teams
