• Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions
• Manage resources allocation, balance stakeholder demands with available resources, design and implement technology solutions within budget constraints for platform sustainability
• Navigate the decision-making dynamics among various stakeholders. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand requirements and define solution architecture.
• Develop high-level and detailed architectural designs, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical standards.
• Ensure technical compatibility, integrating new video platforms with legacy systems with no glitches and poor user experiences

Skills for Success 

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 10+years of experience in the integration and delivery of Broadcast/IPTV/OTT/OSS-BSS projects.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in designing and implementing technical solutions for large TV operations
• Expert in End-to-End Systems Integration and Project Management of Content creation and streaming platforms.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with video multimedia technologies, IPTV and OTT platforms.
• Proven experience in BSS and video platform integration
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Multimedia Technologies: Unified Streaming, Mediakind, MediaExcel, Bitmovin, Irdeto, Akamai, Fastly, Google Ad Manager
• Streaming Protocols: HLS, DASH, Smooth Streaming, CMAF
• Strong proficiency in handling MPEG Transport Streams, MPEG-DASH, HLS, and Smooth Streaming protocols.
• Familiarity with DRM technologies like PlayReady, FairPlay, and Widevine.
• Understanding of CDN and Ad-replacement technologies.
• Specific Knowledge:
  • Microsoft MediaRoom
  • Nokia MMIG
• Good to have:
  • Solid understanding of Public Cloud (pref. AWS) architecture.
  • AWS certification is a big plus
  • Strong Integration and Project delivery experience in the region.
  • Significant experience working on mission critical OTT applications focusing on scalability, performance, architecture aspects
  • Knowledge and experience with various PayTV delivery platform – DTH, IPTV, CATV, DTV etc.
  • Knowledge in migrating on-prem Broadcast Management Systems (Programming and Scheduling system, Media Management System, Ad Insertion, and Playout) to a cloud-based solution
  • Application Development: Node.js, Java, Python
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Databases: SQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Integration Technologies: RESTful APIs, SOAP, Microservices architecture
  • DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform
  • Ad Replacement: CSAI (Client-Side Ad Insertion), SSAI (Server-Side Ad Insertion)
