As a Lead Solution Designer in the CIT Sales Channel team at Singtel, this role is for L5 who will directly report to L4 of Sales channel, you will be responsible for architecting and designing end-to-end technology solutions that support our customer sales channels, including retail, online, and enterprise sales platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, and delivery teams to develop scalable, robust, and innovative solutions that drive digital transformation and deliver superior customer experiences and also manage offshore team members.

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Lead the design of end-to-end solutions across sales platforms including CRM, order management, retail systems, and digital channels.
  • Define and document high-level and detailed technical designs that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Ensure seamless integration with back-end systems (BSS/OSS), middleware, APIs, and third-party platforms

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, technical leads, and delivery teams to refine requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Serve as the technical authority during solution design workshops, project initiation, and throughout the development lifecycle.

Governance & Standards

  • Ensure solutions conform to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, architecture governance forums, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in handling the projects related to security, decommissioning will be an added advantage

Leadership capability:

  • To lead and manage onshore and offshore team members  (around 10)
  • To manage different vendors located onshore.
  • To make sure team dynamics are always positive and thriving to make change.

 

Delivery Support

  • Guide and support development and QA teams during the implementation phase, ensuring design fidelity and technical soundness.
  • Participate in system integration testing and assist in resolving complex technical issues.
  • Must have good understanding of Supply Chain Management business and must be able to deliver Change Requests/Projects related to SCM biz needs

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT solution design, with a focus on sales platforms in a telecom environment.
  • Proven experience in designing and integrating large-scale systems, preferably within BSS, CRM, and e-commerce environments.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise application integration, API design, and middleware technologies.
  • Experience working with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Products expertise- preferably Telco domain – 5 to 10 Years minimum will be an added advantage.
  • Expert in Telco BSS-OSS Solution Architecture.
  • Exposure to any DevOps flavour.
  • Experienced in Agile Methodology based projects.

 

Preferred Skills & Tools:

  • Experience in .NET / JAVA / Azure technology and familiar with database such as MSSQL/Oracle.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP Apis.
  • Knowledge on Web and Mobile Applications .
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, SNOW.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers
  • Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement
  • Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of business goals
