The Manager, Group Sustainability oversees ESG data collection, integrity, and analytics. This role involves working with ESG data owners on sustainability reporting, assurance, procedures, and controls. The Manager also submits and verifies data for sustainability surveys by rating agencies and enterprise customers during Request for Proposals (RFPs).
The Manager also collaborates with Investor Relations on sustainability topics, including preparing for ESG-related questions from investors, and with Group Procurement on engaging suppliers regarding sustainability matters, such as the CDP Supply Chain Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
ESG data collection and analytics
- Manage the ESG data collection for annual Singtel Group Sustainability Report (SR) process, including five-year sustainability strategy and targets to ensure quality and timely reporting.
- Manage the internal reporting data system and SR audit process.
- Track and assess the major ESG rating agencies and recommend the priority ones for the Group to focus on.
- Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations to improve Singtel Group ESG performance and sustainability reporting.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and close relevant ESG gaps.
- Perform research and desktop benchmarking.
Quarterly dashboard and management reporting
- Compile quarterly key achievements for management reporting on key performance indicators.
- Track progress and achievements for annual and five-year sustainability targets.
ESG Technical Consultation for Singtel Group and Affiliates
- Regional Associates ESG benchmarking analysis e.g. MSCI.
- Manage RFP/tender responses related to ESG from enterprise customers.
- Manage CDP and EcoVadis requests from enterprise customers.
Secretariat to Board Risk, Sustainability and Technology Committee (RSTC – Sustainability)
- Manage schedules of RSTC meetings, document compilation and upload.
- Minuting secretary.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- Degree/postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environment Management, Business, Communications etc.
- Relevant certifications relating to sustainability reporting e.g. GRI Standards, ISSB Standards etc is a plus.
- Experience in sustainability rating agencies’ surveys.
- 3-5 years of working experience in corporate sustainability.
- Good understanding of Singtel’s sustainability strategy and the four pillars.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Excel and Powerpoint.
