As a Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), you will play a critical role in supporting NCS to accomplish its business objectives by strengthening and embedding a risk management framework across the organization. This is a hands-on role within NCS Risk Management, where you will drive the implementation of risk policies, enhance monitoring capabilities, and support various compliance and enterprise risk management initiatives.
What will you do?
Risk Management & Compliance Implementation
- Strengthen NCS’s risk management culture and enhance risk monitoring capabilities to drive both immediate and long-term objectives.
- Implement and ensure effective execution of risk policies, standards, and frameworks across business units and functions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of NCS’s Enterprise Risk Management framework, including risk profiling, practice guidance, dashboards, and escalation principles.
- Identify and assess risk areas, address policy and procedural gaps, and implement mitigation plans.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and webinars to drive awareness and understanding of risk management best practices among internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions on risk registers and risk reporting, summarizing key risks and mitigation strategies for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Singapore and the APAC region to ensure alignment on risk initiatives.
Data Analytics & Risk Monitoring
- Leverage data analytics and technology tools to enable continuous risk monitoring, anomaly detection, and process improvements.
- Support scenario planning exercises and validate risk measurement models to enhance risk resilience and response strategies.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5–8 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, or Controls Assurance.
- Proven experience in defining, implementing, and drafting risk management, compliance, or controls assurance policies/standards.
- Demonstrated success in leading transformation and change management programs.
- Experience working in fast-paced, complex business environments, with strong capabilities in organizing, summarizing, and presenting complex information.
- Track record in working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed stakeholders, including coaching and supporting teams on GRC program initiatives.
- Hands-on experience in leading scenario planning exercises, implementing risk-sensing capabilities, and validating risk and measurement models.
- Advanced knowledge of risk management and control concepts, as well as leading risk management practices and standards (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI to enable effective risk reporting and monitoring.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret risk data and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- (Good to have) Understanding of the ICT industry, including the specific risks faced by NCS and its regional businesses.
- (Good to have) Knowledge of risk evaluation models to enhance risk identification and measurement.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Highly driven, autonomous, and resilient, with the ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic and multicultural team and business environment.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel as needed to support regional GRC initiatives.
- (Good to have) In-depth yet broad understanding of the ICT industry, including technology risks, competition, transformation trends, environmental hazards, and regulatory risks.
- University degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
