How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to take a holistic approach to managing our corporate real estate. Responsible for managing OCBC corporate offices – daily operations and maintenance of premise facilities, MAC and sustainability management to ensure a smooth, safe and conducive work environment.
What you do
The individual will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, implementing sustainable engineering solutions and ensuring compliance with environmental and energy regulations. The role balances day-to-day engineering oversight with long-term sustainability initiatives that align with corporate ESG goals and regulatory requirements.
1. Engineering Facilities Operations

Oversee and monitor critical system (MEP, HVAC, electrical, water, waste and energy infrastructure) to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.

Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs; ensure regular maintenance contracts are in place, servicing is completed in a timely and effective manner.

Liaise with vendors, contractors and consultants to ensure service quality and compliance with technical standards.

Supervise all term contractors and ensure that they deliver the contractual level of service standard.

Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and facility design modification.
2. Environmental Sustainability Management
-
Lead initiatives on energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction. This will include formulating policies and innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Track, analyse, collect data and report carbon footprint (scope 1-3 emission) for sustainability reporting, conduct quality check and integrity of the collected data.

Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance sustainability performance eg, smart office/building systems.

Coordinate bank-wide communications, provide awareness, user education and engagement on all environmental sustainability matters. Assist to drive the ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiative for the department.

Ensures Green Mark certification and timely re-certification for the CRE managed offices/branches and establishes improvements where necessary.
3. Project Management

Oversee and manage minor capex works, enhancement works, repairs & maintenance works including contract documentation.

Support feasibility study, due diligence, engineering solutioning, data analytics related works.

Manage the external warehousing for furniture storage.

Liaise and safeguard proper management of contractors and other relevant service providers.

Liaise with building owners and internal staff to ensure smooth operation of facilities.

Responds to stakeholder inquiries and complaints. Ensure timely and quality service delivery. Follows up to ensure satisfaction.

Perform the role of alternate Business Continuity Coordinator for the department.

To provide 24/7 support when necessary.

Any other duties as and when assigned.
Who you are
-
3 or more years of facilities management experience with exposure in managing office critical facilities system and sustainability management, preferably in a financial institution.

Experience in maintenance of M&E, plumbing, fire suppression & protection, BMS related systems.

Self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical/problem solving skills.

Able to understand technical drawings, specifications and requirements.

Able to work independently, a strong team player and to handle fast-paced projects.

Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.

Independent and ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.

Strong in Microsoft office applications (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, AutoCad).
