JOB SUMMARY
- Through consulting with key stakeholders this role will support data driven decision making to inform the future size, shape, spend, composition and skills of the workforce of the future (through corporate planning and budget restatements) and thereafter provide the relevant insights needed to determine the required talent interventions to deliver against that plan in all aspects.
- The role will facilitate the required insights and conversations across the end to end process of strategic workforce shaping, planning and management, identify and explore insights needs in relation to progress against plan, coordinate the provision and deliveyr of those insights and ensure they are actionable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for facilitating discussions and providing insights as required to support the translation of the group’s /business strategy into a workforce strategy, i.e. how will the roles and skills within an organisational unit need to change over time to deliver the group strategy and enable commercial success.
- Responsible for understanding local business requirements in relation to workforce planning and management and providing insights as necessary or requested by key stakeholder across the full spectrum of workforce metrics (HC, HC Cost, Attrition/Retention, Skills, Shape, Location, Diversity and Inclusion, Resourcing, Learning, Leadership etc) to identify and create the required people insights needed to support data driven decision making.
- Leading key stakeholders through the end to end operating model for strategic workforce planning and management to ensure that the corporate plans are a meaningful translation of the business strategy into a workforce plan and to equip those stakeholder with the required insights to inform the actions needed to deliver the plan, e.g. hiring approvals, retention strategies, reskilling and redeployment opportunities, right shoring, diversity and inclusion measures etc.
- Facilitating the support of key stakeholders through the corporate planning and budget restatement processes in relation to workforce planning to ensure the inputs into the plan are meaningful and based on data and insights.
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and developing strong professional relationships to understand their needs and requirements. Supporting the PIA team members as required including provision of coaching and mentoring to junior team members to support development of talent across the team. Seeking and asking feedback on a continuous basis. Taking personal responsibility for own development and growth with support provided by People Leader as needed.
