The People Technology Project Analyst supports the People Technology team in driving key HR initiatives and system-related projects. This role works closely with all HR sub-functions and plays a critical part in supporting the project team and lead with the preparation and execution of HR projects and potentially a HRMS implementation. The Analyst is responsible for coordinating project activities, documenting requirements, managing data-related tasks, and ensuring effective communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Implementation (Readiness & Planning)
- Coordinate pre-implementation activities, including process documentation, data gathering, and requirement definition.
- Support HR teams in identifying project prerequisites, risks, gaps, and dependencies.
- Assist in preparing project plans, timelines, and governance documents.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and support future-state process mapping.
Implementation (Execution & Delivery)
- Track daily project activities, updating progress, risks, issues, and actions.
- Support coordination with vendors and cross-functional teams during design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT), including test script creation, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Assist with data migration activities such as data validation, reconciliation, and preparation.
- Prepare project documentation, status updates, and metric reports for stakeholders.
- Support change management activities including communications, training logistics, and user readiness.
Ongoing HR Project Support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems and processes.
- Provide support for other People Technology projects as required.
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships with HR teams to ensure alignment and operational support.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in HR project management, HR operations, HRIS, or related fields.
- At least 1 full end-to-end HRMS implementation cycle.
- Experience working with cloud HR applications such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Knowledge of HR processes, data structures, and workflows.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, process automation, or digital workflow solutions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Basic change management knowledge.
