Make an Impact by:

  • Pipeline and Cable Diversion Requests: Handle and manage diversion requests from government agencies and private developers.
  • Team Management: Oversee a pool of planners, ensuring projects are studied, quoted, implemented, and delivered on time.
  • Client Coordination: Provide accurate quotations to clients and ensure project execution after confirmation.
  • Operations Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to ensure contractors execute the project as per the planned timeline and specifications.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor the status of ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to customer timelines.
  • Issue Resolution: Review and analyze site issues or constraints, providing effective solutions.
  • Budget Management: Manage the project’s spending to ensure financial control, including Capex and Opex management, and ensure timely billing to recover costs.
  • Material Forecasting: Provide material forecasts to the material management team to ensure sufficient supplies for project rollout.
  • Network Data Monitoring: Analyze network data, produce statistical reports, and proactively trigger pipe/cable capacity top-ups when needed.
  • Tender Sourcing and Contractor Management: Manage and participate in tender processes to source and select the right service contractors for various projects.
  • Network Inventory Management: Ensure the network inventory records are consistently up to date and accurately maintained.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to implement process automation, reducing manual work and improving both internal processes and the customer experience.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Assist in documenting new processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency and compliance with company standards.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Possess Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Proven 5 year of experience in project management within pipeline or cable networks.
  • Good knowledge and experience on outside plant network. 

  • Well verse with Fiber Technology and Access & Transmission Technology.

  • OSS systems such as Geographic Information System (GIS) and/or Network Inventory System.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of planners.
