General Description
- As a Product Manager, to partner with business (advisory and execution teams) to drive all product related activities and discussions.
- Together with stakeholders, formulate business development, risks, controls, and platform strategies with work plans aligned to the organisation’s goals.
Main Duties
Product Management
- Organize, manage, and drive product development and management activities. These activities cover all aspects of the business with focus on front to back touchpoints. The incumbent will support the execution/advisory teams on product development and lifecycle management activities as well change projects and initiatives.
- Keep abreast of latest market trend, analyses customers’ behavior, key financial drivers and competitors’ strategy to sustain a continuous product growth and maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Business representation in key forums and committee and acts as a conduit between business and relevant stakeholders.
Additional duties include the following:
- Advisory for Capital Market’s multi assets: Originate and distribute Capital Markets’ investment ideas and solutions (where Capital Market covers FX, Equity Cash, Bonds and Derivatives). This includes but not limited to the following activities:
- Attending internal meetings with RMs and ICs to present ideas and updates, attend joint calls and meetings with end clients, and work with CIO.
- Effectively communicate relevant market information and investment ideas to internal stakeholders and/or clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Front Office sales teams and provide training where necessary.
- Support product shelf lifecycle processes, including after-sales.
- Work closely with the CIO Research teams and other asset class advisory teams to deliver a broad range of investment solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory policies and procedures.
Others
- Undertake ad hoc assignments or special business projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree holder with min 8 years product management experience, preferably in an investment or wealth management environment.
- License / Certification required: CACS1, CACS2, FMRP.
- Detailed knowledge of analysis and markets, with strong technical capabilities and knowledge in investments products including derivatives.
- Knowledge and understanding of banking & regulatory guidelines.
