General Description

Execution dealer involved in trading primarily Cash Equities and Exchange Traded Options (ETOs) in global markets

Main Duties

Primary function:

  • Execution in approved cash equity markets, related listed options and listed derivatives.
  • Accurate and prompt execution of orders in fast-moving markets from BOS relationship managers, as well as direct dealing clients (DDC).
  • Work with responsible stakeholders to manage DDC requests and orders , accounting for their positions, limits and margin requirement.
  • Address and resolve dealing / product related queries and issues of both internal/external clients, including order status monitoring, prompt reporting of trades.
  • Actively involved in functionalities and operation of the relevant trading systems.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including relationship managers, Middle Office and Back Office, counterparties and brokers.
  • Ensure high standards of operational and service excellence; Minimize risks in execution.
  • Provide market updates and execution-related input to meet the needs of high net-worth clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal compliance policies as applicable.
  • Adherence to BOS dealing procedures
  • Shift coverage (7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm) to provide 24H/5D service for our clients and relationship managers.

Back-up function for Capital Market’s multi-assets:

  • In event of cross-teams coverage required, to carry out timely execution and advisory for multi-assets outside primary function (where Capital Market covers FX, Equity Cash, Bonds and Derivatives). Training on cross asset coverage will be provided.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Candidate should possess at least 8 years of relevant Equity and Derivatives dealing / sales experience in sell-side or buy-side institution.
  • Expertise in trading equities including ability to understand fundamental and technical factors affecting the asset class.
  • Knowledgeable and competent in Algorithms used to implement trading strategies to meet client objectives
  • Prior experience working with relationship managers and high net worth trading clients is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education Requirements

  • Degree
  • CFA qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • RES12B and CM-CMP Certificate is required.
