JOB SUMMARY

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the CRES Investment Programme.  This programme of work, $8m for 2025, is an enabler for the CRES 2.0 Strategy and includes projects that (1) Enhance end user and customer experience in the physical workplace (2) drive ROTE efficiency by automating or simplifying existing ways of working and (3) support our ability to deliver every day.  Many of these projects impact 90,000 colleagues globally and so importantly, this role will ensure that all aspects of end user experience and operational sustainability are considered in every project, not just the technology.   
  • Corporate Real Estate is a highly outsourced function so much of the delivery will be through our Supply Partners (Cushman & Wakefield and JLL) as well as through Workplace Services and the CIO organisations internally.  Vendor management and associated commercial experience is therefore essential. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Against business need areas work with technology and supply partners to solution commercial and pragmatic solutions, scalable across all geographies
  • Building from the current year plans, translate the technology roadmap into a mid-term executable programme of work.
  • For initiating projects, provide insight and constructive challenge on the business requirement and solution design to optimize business value in the approach determined 
  • Implement best practices leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. 
  • Regularly report on progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership, ensuring that programme efforts are on track and delivering expected outcomes. 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans that ensures smooth transition and stakeholder buy-in at all levels. 
  • Assure the communications, training and coaching, to impacted teams and colleagues to ensure alignment and effective use of new systems and processes.
  • Build and lead a high performing team to deliver the programme outcomes against the set milestones
  • Through influence, lead the broader programme team including technology and other Strategic Change colleagues who may not not have formal reporting lines 
  • Leader of Leaders – coach and guide project managers to effectively lead their teams and workstreams

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in , Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or similar are highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership or transformation role, ideally within supply chain management / procurement. Must have experience in full-scale operating model change. 
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including not just technology but also designing and implementing new operating models, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership to drive strategic change.
