Key Responsibilities

a. Supplier Research and Identification

  • Conduct thorough research to identify all relevant LEO satellite suppliers.
  • Compile a comprehensive list of suppliers, including their product offerings, capabilities, and market presence.
  • Analyze the collected data to identify trends, strengths, and weaknesses of each supplier.

 

b. Data Collection and Analysis.

  • Gather detailed information about each supplier, focusing on:  
  • Technical Specifications: Satellite performance, payload capacity, and communication capabilities.
  • Pricing Models: Develop Cost structures, pricing strategies, and potential discounts. o Reliability and Quality: Historical performance, reliability metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Innovation and R&D: Current projects, future developments, and technological advancements.

 

c. Comparison and Evaluation

  • Develop a comparative framework to assess suppliers based on predefined criteria (e.g., cost, quality, innovation, customer service).
  • Create a detailed report highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each supplier, including potential risks and opportunities.

 

d. Strategic Recommendations

  • Based on the analysis, provide strategic recommendations for selecting suppliers that align with the company’s goals for developing a proprietary constellation.
  • Identify potential partnerships or collaborations that could enhance our competitive edge. e. Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of supplier interactions, agreements, and communications.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

e. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of supplier interactions, agreements, and communications.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

 

f. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, procurement, strategy) to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Facilitate communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address queries and concerns.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., aerospace engineering, telecommunications, business administration).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Curiosity and Adaptability: Willingness to learn about the satellite industry and adapt to new information and challenges.
