Overview
As a Project Executive, you will represent OneCare Support shared services covering Cyber, Network and system to:
- Interface with CSU /CDL on monthly and bi-monthly project forecast (month end closure) in support to cost/margin and revenue review with SDD
- These forecast includes A) those with project codes, B) newly awarded deals, C) in transition between awarded and project code – in terms of financial Revenue Recognition and Margin along the contractual timeline
- Assist the SDD to draw up analysis of meaningful data extraction for management and planning purposes (e.g. Project-related financial planning against YoY (Revenue and Margin %), OB gaps for current FY, renewal projection)
- Investigate and highlight exceptional projects to management and ensure steps to resolve these. This might include involving in review of outstanding accrual/deferred revenue and cost.
- Lead in process improvement/enhancements in relation to project financials. Involved implementation of guidelines and policies along the way.
- Liase with internal and external audits in support to Service Managers
- Involve in tender financial assessment for OneCare portion
What will you do?
- Engage all stakeholders in OneCare Support, system extract to prepare for Tribe (CSU/CDL) meeting, answerable for forecast on revenue and margin for the tribes. Flag out exception and resolution, and forecast in monthly fashion.
- Forecast accuracy against actual revenue recognition and margin
- Ability to explain gaps and tell Service Managers on rectification
- Work with SDD on extraction of meaningful data (in excel or so) in area of:
- Categorizing and reasoning of Revenue and Margin gap and action plan to go
- Determining with accurate forecast for monthly Revenue Recognition and margin landing
- Ability to provide timely tribes owned revenue recognition and margin statistic and draw out conclusion from it for action to be taken to “get well”
- Work with Day1 TS (overall) to determine how to position it to tribes CSU/CDL
- Ability to effective communicate action to Service Managers for financial system adjustment to fit the forecast
- Ability to support SDD to his satisfaction on item 2
- Implement/ Improve best practices and with high quality standards on presenting of project financial data
- Best practice guide
- Familiarizing with NCS financial system like SAP and IPMS, and all other Financial terms (GR, AR etc.)
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business, Computer Engineering, Information Technology related field, or equivalent
- Preferably 3 or more years of financial-related experience
- Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
- Good customer management experience
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Able to travel as required
