What you do

  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at increasing operating flows and balances from MNCs, RE and NBFIs across the Greater China-ASEAN corridor.

  • Market Expertise:  Possess sound understanding of the above industry segments, with ability to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics to facilitate strategic planning.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture high-level relationship with key stakeholders in target sectors. Understand their business needs and provide solutions that enhance operational stickiness and client satisfaction.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Manager, product, operations, risk, Global Markets, Consumer Finance, to deliver innovative and comprehensive solutions which meet client needs.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and drive accountability across regional sales counterparts. Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management to track portfolio performance against sector strategy.

  • Regionalization: Leverage the bank’s regional footprint and strengths to entrench key client relationship across the region.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

  • Sales Leadership: Integrate into high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is highly preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transaction banking sales or corporate banking, with a proven track record in driving growth of operating deposits

  • Strong knowledge of the ASEAN banking landscape, in relation to MNCs, Real Estate, and NBFIs.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.

  • Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin, as this role involves interaction with Chinese Clients.
