As a Relationship Manager in Global Commercial Banking, Emerging Business, Real Estate & Construction, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large corporations, and help them achieve their business goals. You’ll also need to be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including product specialists and credit teams, to deliver a seamless client experience.
What you do
Portfolio Management:

Manage a portfolio of medium and large SMEs in the Real Estate industry, ensuring high-quality relationships and revenue growth.

Develop and execute relationship plans to deepen existing relationships and acquire new customers.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell OCBC’s suite of products and services, including Cash Management, Treasury, and Investment Banking.
Credit Analysis and Approval:
-
Prepare high-quality Credit Proposals, including in-depth credit risk analysis, to support new business and existing relationship growth.

Conduct thorough credit reviews and provide recommendations to the Credit Committee.

Follow through on approval and facility implementation process to ensure seamless execution.
Risk Management:

Conduct timely and regular credit reviews to ensure portfolio quality and risk management.

Identify and mitigate potential risks, escalating concerns to the Head of Real Estate & Construction and the Credit Committee as necessary.
Collaboration and Cross-Selling:
-
Collaborate with various units within OCBC, including Group Corporate Banking, Group Investment Banking, and Group Treasury, to cross-sell other products and services to existing customers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and support.
Business Development:

Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new customers and deepen existing relationships.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

Who you are
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial banking, with a focus on the Real Estate industry.

Strong credit analysis and risk management skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality Credit Proposals.

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and deepening existing relationships.

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Strong business development acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
