You will be responsible for a portfolio of Energy corporate clients comprising some of the largest and most active international corporations in the world. In this role, you will focus on business development, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business priorities and executing bespoke solutions. You will work closely with a broad range of partners across products, geographies and functions. How It Works
To excel in this role, you must possess a thorough understanding of the energy value chain and energy products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will need to identify and pitch for client opportunities, articulate relevant risks and mitigations and effectively lobby a wide range of stakeholders. Broad knowledge of specialized banking products spanning syndicated finance, structured finance and trade finance will be invaluable. A proactive, resilient mindset will be necessary to deal with myriad challenges, and you will be expected to manage multiple tasks and opportunities and adapt seamlessly to dynamic tasking within the team.
What you do
1. Take responsibility for any and every matter relating to your portfolio of customers.
2. Engage meaningfully at all levels to stay abreast of opportunities to grow earnings and risks to measure and mitigate.
3. Originate, structure, negotiate and execute suitable business opportunities.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and product partners to deliver suitable solutions to your clients, leveraging on the Bank’s network and capabilities.
5. Complete onboarding due diligence, credit proposal and legal documentation in accordance with all internal and regulatory requirements.
6. Monitor and manage accounts actively to ensure portfolio health, and take timely action when necessary.

Who you are
-
7-10 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in the Energy sector

Strong credit, financial analysis and cashflow forecasting abilities

Broad knowledge of banking products including structured finance, trade finance, treasury and cash management

Experience working with colleagues from different countries on the same client relationships

Independent, courageous, resilient and a good team player
