Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for Agile delivery of planned roadmap for the underlining projects and application enhancements. Removes blockers for the successful delivery, coaching/mentoring. Partner with other businesses and build strong relationships with respective technology teams for smoother projects delivery and demonstrating organization values.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible in facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Work with Product Owners, Tribe leads to create and maintain product backlogs, and ensures backlog readiness
- Does forecasting of deliverables possible in an iteration based on evidence and reliable source.
- Estimation and planning. Create reliable and practical plans for software development projects.
- A good coach in Agile practices and can mentor individuals on processes and tools, ensures the team to adhere and use Agile values and Scrum practices.
- Create process to reduce product time-to-market by embracing automation in the delivery lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Digital & Analytics team and other operational departments, , and drive actions to eliminate any roadblocks lies in teams progress
- Supports the organizational transformation, mentor and coach other Scrum Masters, share practices and tools that are successful.
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in project management preferably with Banking Technology domain
Experience in Wealth Management/Digital Banking/Pega/Data domain desirable but not mandatory. - Proven ability to understand business needs, across business functions with a front to back perspective
- Familiar with prevailing agile tools and practices (Jira/Confluence)
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent. Experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environment
- Proven track record in working within both a waterfall and agile project delivery methodology
- Ability to work proactively, independently and displays strong initiative
- Pragmatic team player with an attention to detail
- Ability to drive multiple agenda and effectively manage priorities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence to challenge the status quo, providing alternative solutions
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
- Motivated, passionate about technology and the Financial Services
- Proactive, self starter, autonomous, good analytical skills
