Make an Impact by
- Assist the Assistant Director, Security in maintaining security infrastructure, systems, and facilities to the highest standards.
- Oversee routine security maintenance across all Singtel data centres.
- Ensure security systems comply with local authority standards and client requirements.
- Review and optimize security processes and policies for better efficiency.
- Coordinate daily with third-party security vendors, ensuring SLA adherence.
- Manage security vendor performance, contracts, and enforcement.
- Supervise outsourced security maintenance vendors to ensure safe and effective work.
- Oversee security maintenance work to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Manage and monitor the security maintenance budget and expenditures.
- Implement corrective and preventive maintenance for security equipment.
- Ensure high quality standards in security maintenance services.
- Ensure all security activities comply with legal and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and drills to assess security equipment and personnel performance.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repairs of security equipment.
- Ensure maintenance work follows approved procedures and standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance records for audits.
- Prepare budgets and manage capital projects such as technology upgrades.
- Ensure critical spare parts for security systems are stocked and accounted for.
- Analyze security equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and update standard maintenance procedures following industry best practices.
- Maintain 24/7 operational readiness for security systems.
- Support the Assistant Director in security operations, policies, audits, and administrative tasks, including acting in their absence.
Skills for Success
- Degree/Diploma in Security Studies or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mission-Critical Security Facilities, Law Enforcement, or Security Industry.
- At least 2 years of experience handling security systems and/or infrastructure.
- Proven technical knowledge and experience in implementing security systems for critical infrastructure.
- Ability to read and understand security architecture/topology system drawings.
- Knowledge and training in Threat, Vulnerability & Risk Assessment (TVRA).
- Strong work ethic, independent, motivated, and committed.
- Hands-on with good communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts calmly.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle complex issues, inquiries, or complaints from customers and management.
- Strong multi-tasking skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in managing client and stakeholder relationships.
