We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cyber Security Consultant with strong experience in cybersecurity and a solid technical foundation in network, infrastructure, and cloud security, preferably within telecom or infrastructure-heavy environments.
Make An Impact By
- Support the design, implementation, and governance of security controls across network, cloud, and identity domains.
- Work with network, identity, and infrastructure teams to review and implement Zero Trust principles, access controls, Identify gaps, risks, and deviations from security standards.
- Ensure Asset Discovery across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Validate completeness and accuracy of asset inventories and ensure alignment with security tooling (e.g., SIEM, EDR, ASM).
- Support integration and optimisation of SIEM and NDR platforms. Ensure appropriate log sources, telemetry, and data quality are onboarded from critical systems.
- Work with infrastructure and SOC teams to build use cases and improve detection quality of SIEM, EDR etc.
- Support incident investigations, post-incident reviews, and lessons-learned activities.
- Maintain and review cybersecurity documentation including policies, standards, procedures, and compliance artefacts.
- Support regulatory, audit, and internal reporting requirements.
- Support collection and analysis of cybersecurity metrics (KPIs, KRIs)
Skills For Success
- Bachelor’s degree (or diploma with relevant experience) in Cybersecurity, Information
Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security governance, security
operations, or related roles. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts including threat landscape, risk
management, incident response, and data protection. - Good understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls,
VPNs, encryption). - Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of security technologies such as
SIEM, EDR, NDR, firewalls, vulnerability management, and asset discovery tools. - Experience working in complex, regulated, or infrastructure-heavy environments is
highly desirable. - Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional
teams.
Preferred Certifications and Skills
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications are preferred, such as:
- CISSP (or Associate)
- CISM
- CCSP
- GIAC certifications
- Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders
