The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for concurrently leading multiple cross-functional squads and internal IT projects driving delivery of IT solutions that meet business objectives while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Beyond overseeing delivery execution, the role provides strategic value by managing key special projects, aligning with Product Owners on priorities, and partnering with business, technical teams, and vendors to deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and in compliance with standards. The Delivery Manager also serves as a single point of contact for stakeholders, anticipates and resolves delivery risks, and develops team capability through coaching and collaboration.

 

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Manage 1 or more key special project delivery target that add strategic value to the Product Owner or to the Company (ie. iPhone launch, Tech refresh)
  • Ability to concurrently lead 2 or more cross-functional teams of Business/Technical people to deliver successful IT solutions and business value while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Provides review, oversight, and alignment with Product Owner for IT backlogs which include project activities, incremental enhancements, fixes and maintenance jobs.
  • Leads the team to influence and manage customer expectations, based on pre-defined requirements and information collected, to provide expert judgement and consult on project scheduling and risk assessments/impact to project deliverables and commitments
  • Work closely with external Vendors, Group partners and internal Tech teams, leveraging on expertise inside and outside the Company, to continually learn and develop the team
  • Be the single point of contact for business and other IT domains and Vendors. Facilitate delivery through Agile and Waterfall framework as required
  • Ensures team is adopting in compliance to Project Management Office practice standards and monitor the progress of the delivery on a regular basis, and in compliance to the Data Protection guidelines. Ensures customers’ expectations are managed and met (Outside-in). Ensures work is delivered on time, meet business & technical requirements and within budget.
  • Anticipate, manage, and facilitate resolution of issues with relevant support and technical teams. Communicate Singtel’s vision and drive Singtel’s strategies & priorities based on Singtel’s core values. Coach and develop junior staff within the same chapter/department
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, breaking down barriers for the team and both planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed. The main duties and responsibilities will be subjected to review when there is change in business requirements and scope of work
