Roles and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior Equity Analyst to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in equity markets, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of generating actionable investment ideas. This role requires strategic thinking, rigorous financial modelling, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to internal stakeholders and clients.
Key responsibilities include:

Equity research & analysis, conduct in-depth fundamental research on assigned sectors and companies, build and maintain detailed financial models, including scenario analysis, monitor macroeconomic, industry, and regulatory developments impacting coverage.

The candidate should also participate in generating high-conviction buy/sell/hold recommendations supported by robust analysis.

The role also requires the candidate to present investment ideas to portfolio managers, high network clients as well as external investment seminars and events.

We are looking for candidate with strong leadership skill and is also able to produce high-quality research reports, thematic pieces, and sector reports. The person should also be able to contribute actively to strategy discussions and provide insights on market trends.

Proficiency in multiple valuation methodologies (DCF, sum-of-parts, etc.) and sensitivity analysis are required. In addition, the person should possess strong writing and presentation skills and the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA preferred.

Minimum 8–10 years of equity research experience, ideally covering Asian markets.

Proven track record of generating alpha through research-driven recommendations.

Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms.
