We are seeking a Solution Manager to support the planning and development of integrated solutions in mobility communications and unmanned systems. Based in Singapore, this role focuses on gathering requirements, preparing costing inputs, compiling bid documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal governance processes.
You will work closely with technical teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to ensure that solutions are well-defined, costed accurately, and aligned to both customer needs and internal approval requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Engage stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into clear business and technical requirements.
- Document business needs, use cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Maintain traceability of requirements across project lifecycles.
Costing & Bid Preparation
- Compile cost estimates for solution components, integrating inputs from various technical and commercial teams.
- Prepare costing sheets and pricing breakdowns for inclusion in proposals and bids.
- Coordinate inputs from vendors and suppliers to support pricing exercises.
- Review and validate cost assumptions against market benchmarks and internal guidelines.
Internal Bid Review & Compliance
- Prepare documentation required for internal bid reviews and approvals.
- Ensure all bids comply with internal governance processes, including submission of necessary forms, justifications, and financial analysis.
- Track and manage bid review timelines to meet submission deadlines.
Domain Support
- Domain will focus on Mobility (LTE / 5G / Wireless) and Unmanned Systems (UAVs / UGVs / Robotics).
- Gather user requirements relevant to mobile networks for operational use cases such as remote operations, telemetry, or video streaming.
- Liaise with network providers and internal technical teams to clarify requirements for network coverage, latency, and resilience.
- Keep updated on industry developments in LTE, 5G, Open RAN, and related technologies.
- Understand operational scenarios involving drones, UGVs, and robotic systems and translate these into requirements and cost considerations.
- Support planning for trials, testing, and regulatory compliance documentation.
General Project Support
- Contribute to reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
- Support vendor evaluations and proposal assessments from a business and cost perspective.
- Work closely with solution architects and engineers to ensure proposed solutions align with documented requirements and cost constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Bid Analyst, or similar role in technology domains.
- Experience preparing cost estimates, commercial proposals, or bid documentation.
- Familiarity with internal bid governance processes and documentation requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to wireless network technologies (Wireless Mesh, LTE, 5G, Open RAN) or unmanned systems is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
