Make an Impact by:

  • Provide accurate, prompt and robust legal advice to the Enterprise business units, including overseas business units.
  • Provide legal support for Corporate Functions (HR, Sustainability, Credit Management, Risk, Tax, IA, Corp Comms, etc)Draft, review, amend and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, with a particular focus on sales and procurement contracts in the telco/connectivity/cybersecurity/tech space..
  • Draft, review, amend and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, with a particular focus on sales and procurement contracts in the telco/connectivity/cybersecurity/tech space. 
  • Provide legal education and training to the business units and other stakeholders. 
  • Manage/train/guide legal contract managers reporting to this role
  • Work collaboratively with other stakeholders within Singtel to ensure internal policy and corporate governance is adhered to.
  • Possess excellent client relationship skills with keen interest in learning and understanding the business, its drivers and the operations.
  • Prior experience and an interest in legal technology and tools will be a plus.

Skills for Success:

  • Possess Law degree (Singapore or other recognized law school).
  • 8 to 10 years (at least 4-5 years in private practice).
  • Excellent familiarity with all matters of contract law.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws, data privacy laws.
  • Experience in legal review, negotiation, and amendment of contacts.
