As a Digital Governance Lead within NCS Corporate IT, you will be responsible for driving governance across IT and Data to ensure policy discipline, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital trust and operational integrity, ensuring that IT practices and data management frameworks align with both regulatory standards and business requirements.
What would you do?
Governance Strategy & Advisory
· Develop and maintain governance frameworks aligned to NCS’s IT and Data strategy.
· Provide independent advice on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) matters.
· Monitor emerging regulatory trends (e.g. PDPA, cybersecurity, AI governance) and assess their impact on NCS IT
Policy Management
· Own the lifecycle of IT and data-related policies, ensuring regular reviews for relevance and enforceability.
· Lead sunset and refresh cycles for outdated policies.
· Work with Legal, Cybersecurity and Enterprise Architecture teams to maintain cohesive and effective policy architecture
Audit Management
· Lead and coordinate internal and external audits related to IT and Data governance.
· Manage audit responses, evidence collation, and remediation tracking across teams.
· Maintain audit readiness through proactive documentation, control testing, and stakeholder engagement
Compliance & Controls
· Define and monitor compliance controls across IT systems and data platforms.
· Partner with internal audit and risk teams on assessments and remediation.
· Maintain a central repository of compliance evidence and artefacts
AI Governance
· Administer and enforce governance processes for AI-enabled tools and platforms adopted within NCS IT.
· Ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory obligations, and responsible use guidelines.
· Support assessments of AI-related risks in collaboration with Legal, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Architecture
Operational Excellence
· Embed governance into system lifecycle processes to promote system hygiene and reduce risks.
· Drive continuous improvement in governance operations, including automation and reporting.
· Act as a steward of digital trust, ensuring governance is pragmatic, scalable, and business-aligned
Data Governance
· Oversee and report on Data Governance initiatives to Singtel Group-level stakeholders.
· Develop and drive the enterprise Data Governance framework, covering data ownership, quality, lifecycle management, privacy, and compliance.
· Administer and enforce governance processes for data initiative.
· Support compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA) in collaboration with the Data Protection Officer (DPO), Group GRC, and Cyber teams
