General Description
As a Senior Power BI and Streamlit Developer within the Finance Change Management team at Bank of Singapore, your main responsibility will be to provide business intelligence solutions and automate processes using Power BI software and Streamlit development.
Main Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Define and maintain a product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Design and develop power BI dashboards to meet stakeholders’ needs.
- Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis.
- Collaborates with data hub data engineers to acquire transformed data.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in power BI.
- Maintaining and keep up to date with the latest power BI features and trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the reporting and analytics workflow.
- Integrate streamlit applications with various data sources, including databases, APIs.
- Design, develop and deploy streamlit applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional applications.
- Create intuitive user interface and ensure seamless experience.
- Document code, workflows and processes for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
Work Experience
- 5 years’ experience in related fields
- Proficiency in power BI development including report and dashboard creations
- Strong understanding of data modelling and visualisation
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
- Experience with complex DAX calculations
- Proven experience developing streamlit applications
- Proficiency in python and data APIs
Technical Skills
- Power BI and python certification is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science or related field
