The Senior Retail Executive drives customer engagement and sales performance in Singtel retail outlets. Beyond day-to-day sales, the role supports store operational standards, mentors junior staff, and helps execute campaigns with consistent service quality.

The Senior Retail Executive also provides first-level resolution for escalations and relays customer/market feedback to improve processes.

 

Make an Impact by

 

  1. Customer experience and sales
  • Provide end-to-end consultations across mobile, broadband and related products, tailored to customer needs.
  • Explain and demonstrate device features and recommend suitable plans and value-added services.
  • Upsell cross-category offerings (e.g., accessories, lifestyle products) to improve attachment and basket size.
  • Manage customer escalations and provide first-level resolution before management intervention.
  • Capture and relay customer feedback and competitor intelligence to improve in-store execution.

 

  1. Store operations and compliance
  • Support store opening/closing duties, daily reconciliation and inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure promotional readiness (collaterals, pricing and displays).
  • Assist queue and appointment management during peak hours and events to protect customer experience.
  • Conduct stock checks and ensure device/accessory availability is aligned with promotions.
  • Adhere to responsible selling standards and company policies; maintain accurate documentation in systems.

 

  1. Team enablement and campaign execution
  • Act as buddy mentor for new Retail Executives; provide on-the-job coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct refresher training on systems (e.g., POS/CRM) and campaign updates; share best practices.
  • Support campaign launches and product activations by briefing teammates and coordinating execution.
  • Track store-level KPIs and support reporting to HQ (e.g., conversions, attachments, service indicators).
  • Propose improvements to sales floor processes and customer journey touchpoints.

 

Skills for Success

 

  • Minimum: Secondary education; Diploma preferred (Business, Communications or related fields).
  • Sales or retail experience required (telecommunications / electronics retail experience is advantageous).
  • Strong customer engagement skills; able to handle escalations calmly and independently.
  • IT savvy; comfortable using POS/CRM systems and digital tools for customer and sales documentation.
  • Able and willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays (up to 44 hours/week; up to 6 days/week).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in English and one other language is preferred.
  • Positive attitude, dependable team player; demonstrates leadership potential for mentoring juniors.
