As a AIOps Engineer (Splunk), you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing the AIOps and Observability platform, as well as developing AIOps use cases. Operationalize these use cases to align with customer requirements and enhance productivity in service delivery and operations.
What will you do?
- Architect, design, develop, deploy, and maintain the enterprise logging and observability platform using Splunk or Elastic ELK.
- Contribute to the design by understanding architectural trade-offs such as scalability, resiliency, high availability, and security.
- Conduct capacity planning and solution reviews for the ELK/Splunk environment.
- Implement solutions to analyze business data and design data structures using the Elastic ELK/Splunk observability platform.
- Develop and manage high-volume data ingestion and real-time data flow processes.
- Work with data log streaming platforms and tools to ingest data from systems, applications, and access logs.
- Design and build multi-tenant dashboard solutions.
- Establish and maintain operational best practices to ensure the smooth operation of the Elastic ELK/Splunk observability solution.
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of the Elastic ELK/Splunk observability solution.
- Optimize and fine-tune the Elastic ELK/Splunk observability solution to meet performance requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to establish best practices for the data warehouse and analytics environment.
- Explore emerging technologies and advancements to address customer needs and implement relevant upgrades.
- Develop, test, and operationalize AIOps use cases.
- Operate Platform with High Availability and meeting customer SLA
The ideal candidate should possess:
Experience
- Over 6 years of hands-on experience in data visualization, business intelligence, observability, and AIOps.
- Over 6 years of hands-on experience supporting ELK or Splunk observability and ITSI in production, managing medium to large clusters.
- Proficient in setting up Elastic ELK Stack or SPLUNK Observability/ITSI solutions to process data from multiple sources.
- Experience with visualization strategies, controls, and techniques.
- Skilled in configuring Elastic Search or Splunk search indexes, sharding, aliases, and related configurations.
- Expertise in API integration.
- Strong experience with SQL and query optimization.
- Familiar with buffering tools such as Kafka and Redis.
- Exposure to Amazon Elastic Search, Elastic Cloud, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry is a plus.
- Knowledge of security and access management concepts.
Technical Skillsets
- Strong background in Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems.
- Experience with the architecture, implementation, and use case development of Elastic ELK, Splunk ITSI, or equivalent AIOps/Observability platforms.
- Proven experience integrating AIOps platforms with ITSM service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira SM, Helix ITSM, or Remedy.
- Expertise in integrating AIOps platforms with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Chef.
- Proficient in using a wide range of open-source technologies and scripting languages.

- Passion for programming and automation, and actively looking for opportunities to develop tools to streamline and simplify the development and delivery process
- Good understanding with Systems, networking, and development tools
