Solution Architect – Treasury and Securities (VP)

How you succeed
Lead front‑to‑back architecture for Treasury and Securities across front office, risk, operations, finance/ledger, and digital asset businesses. This includes FX, MM, fixed income, derivatives, ALM, funding & liquidity, hedge accounting, and securities trading (equities, bonds, structured products). Architect resilient, low‑latency, high‑integrity platforms integrating pricing, risk, position‑keeping, order management, market connectivity, confirmations/settlements, collateral, clearing, custody, and regulatory reporting for both retail and institutional clients.
What you do
Drive Target State Treasury & Securities Architecture

Define and deliver the bank’s target state architecture across Treasury and Securities, covering trade capture, order/execution workflows, pricing services, market data ingestion, risk analytics, settlement, clearing, custody, and integration with core banking, finance, and payments.

Establish reference architectures for low latency trading channels, exchange connectivity, FIX/FAST protocols, market gateways, and STP processing for retail and institutional clients.
Align Solution Design with Enterprise Strategy

Demonstrate strong understanding of architecture strategy and roadmap, ensuring solution designs consistently align with enterprise blueprints, guidelines, roadmap and guiding principles.
Deliver Comprehensive Solutions Design Artefacts
-
Produce detailed solution artefacts (trade & market‑data models, sequence diagrams, deployment topologies, resilience/run‑books, NFRs) across application, data, and infra.
Define and evolve architecture and integration patterns for market data, pricing/risk (real time/batch), P&L explain, confirmations/settlements, collateral/margin, limits/controls, and accounting/GL.
Deep Domain Expertise with Agility

Possess in-depth knowledge of Treasury domain expertise across one or more: Treasury asset classes: FX, MM, fixed income, derivatives. Pricing, analytics, and valuation services. Position management and inventory optimization. Market & liquidity risk (VaR/ES, Greeks, IRRBB, LCR/NSFR). ALM/FTP and hedge accounting. Securities trading: equities, fixed income, structured products, ETFs. Retail & institutional low latency trading channels and order flows. Post trade processing: clearing, custody, settlement (e.g., SWIFT, DvP, CCPs, CSDs). Trade reporting and regulatory obligations (MiFID, MAS, EMIR, etc.)
Collaborate and Govern Effectively

Identify and raise architecture deviations and manage tech debt resolutions to Architecture / Platforms forums for timely resolution and alignment.
Hands-On Engagement with Delivery Teams and Users

Hands on engagement with trading, risk, operations, and finance stakeholders; as well as

across delivery, partnering closely with engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to ensure solutions adhere to design and best practices (data quality, observability, resiliency, cost)
Who you are
-
Preferably 7+ years in enterprise / solutions architecture and cloud-native technologies such as microservices, Kubernetes, kafka/MQ, redis, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle).

Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and infrastructure setup.

Experience with low‑latency and high‑reliability systems, market‑data integration, and FO‑to‑BO/STP processing; familiarity with Treasury vendor platforms is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.

Proven ability to define new architectures, lead projects independently, and drive adoption of best practices.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills; proactive and resourceful.

Experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Payments, Core Banking domains is an advantage.
