Job Summary
You will join a Singapore-based team with a global mandate — the scope of the work encompasses the entire SCB population (~85,000 employees across 50+ countries). As an organisation design specialist, you will work with senior leaders and heads of in-country HR and CEOs to solve complex global and regional business challenges. Strategy
You will be apprenticed to our Organisation Design Leads to:
• Engage senior leaders to distil and analyse complex business and organisational issues
• Understand the business strategy of their organisational units, regulatory context, and their implications to organisation design
• Advise business/function stakeholders on their Target Operating Model (TOM) and organisational structures
• Utilise an evidence-based approach to analyse the current state through Organisation Design Reviews (ODR) which assess structure, size, shape, spans, and layers of the organisational unit
• Leverage thought leadership and best practices to enrich current state analysis and recommendations on the future state organisation
• Co-develope future state TOM and organisational structures with senior executives of the business/function
• Collaborate with HRBPs to monitor implementation and ensure achievement of desired outcomes by:
• Provide continued advisory and tracking the progress and benefits of transition to the future state organisation
Business
• Proactively form credible relationships to effectively partner with business leaders and challenge / influence relevant decision-making as appropriate.
• Act as a change agent and key enabler to help drive global and Functions’ specific change initiatives with stakeholders and wider teams.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
• Provide support for the implementation and execution of HR processes, policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Work with risk control owners and/or Group policy owners to ensure effective implementation and operationalisation of relevant policies and control standards set by them.
People & Talent
• Work in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Risk Management
• Understand and help manage the people-related risk profile of functions including operational and reputational risk, to Group Standards
• Support the effective implementation of the Risk Management framework within the role remit
Governance
• Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct, as it relates to the role remit, to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations form part of the culture within Functions.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
• Your clients are senior stakeholders of the Bank. You will work in close partnership with HRBPs facing off to these clients, as well as develop relationships with other HR Centres of Expertise (“CoE”) to provide holistic people and organisation solutions

Our Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of relevant experience in organisation transformation, strategy, or broad-based strategic human capital consulting. May be in either an external or internal capacity
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or any Equivalent
- Smart, motivated, self-starter who is willing to learn and interested in strategic HR problems and organisation design
- Open to varied work responsibilities and does what is necessary to achieve desired outcomes
- Experience in financial services/ banking sector and/or in a global role a plus
